i heard you song “More Beautiful You” it is an amazing song! it helped me alot. it helped me realize that im perfect and just as i should be. if this song helped me it will help so many others too. im going to send this song to my friend who is battling with anorexia. i pray that it will help her realize tht she is beautiful.thanks for writing this song and keep writing. may God bless you a thousand times over.

You have such a wonderful voice! Everytime I hear your song on the radio (Z88.3) I turn it up full blast and dance around to it, and sing along to it.
The words ‘little girl 14 flipping through a magazine, says she wants to look that way; there could never be a more beautiful you’ plays on my mind all day!
I know more words, but those are the lyrics that play in my head. I hope that someday you can come to FL, and I’ll be able to see you in concert.

Thank you for expressing this in music. I myself am a inspiring young musician. Remember though, it needs to go beyond music. There is a purpose for where you are. I recommend getting “Hell’s Best Kept Secret” and “True and False Conversion” by Ray Comfort, with Kirk Cameron. Living Waters Publications.

I am a youth leader in my church and we recently used this song in our devotion/Bible study time at a youth girls lock in. We showed the girls the video for the song as well as the video of you talking about why you wrote the song and what it means. Our girls really connected to the lyrics, the images in the video and what you had to say about it from a guy’s perspective as well as God’s perspective. This was a great lead-in for them to feel open in talking about their struggles with self-esteem and what the world expects of them as young girls. So thank you again for being open to letting God use you to reach this young generation of Christians and to help encourage them as they walk in a world full of pressures. You are a blessing and I pray you will continue to be a voice that God can use to reach our youth.

The beat really caught up with me, but then I started listening to the lyrics…and when I did…WOW. I want to thank you. I had been drifting away from God and my faith…but the lyrics and your music has indeed restored my faith like a child. I went out and bought a copy of your CD and haven’t been able to stop playing it since. It’s on repeat in my stereo now. You truly are a great lyricist and again, I thank you for restoring my faith! September 5th, 2009 at 8:15 pmJonny, I’m sure you’ve heard this a million times, but…WOW! As some background, I’m 21-years old and nowhere NEAR a perfect body. Satan’s been working in my life to make me forget who my Creator is and focus on the negative, and put me in a very dark place in my life, in the last year.
A couple of weeks ago, I hit rock bottom; I felt the absolute lousiest I think I’ve ever felt in my life. I was driving home from work, throwing a small pity-party for myself, when a large deer jumped out in front of my car; had I hit it, I would have totaled my car, and if I swerved to miss it, I would have landed, tires up, in the ditch. By the Grace of God, I somehow managed to miss the animal and pulled over to the side of the road to calm myself down. Since music is my escape, I flipped on the radio, which I had left tuned to KLOVE, and heard the first few chords of a song that, I believe, has touched the life of every girl who has ever felt down on herself. God spoke to me, that night, through your music, and I cannot thank you enough. I now truly believe God has a plan for me and made me to his likings. God bless you, and thank you for your inspirational lyrics and messages. -

I’m a college student who has struggled with my appearance my entire life, always questioning myself and putting myself down. I’ve been taken advantage of more times than I want to count by the men in my life, and my past is something I am always trying to run from and forget. Sometimes when I’m really feeling low and can’t even look in a mirror, I listen to your song. And even if I can never believe it for myself 100%, I just wanted you to know that it helps. I don’t know if you had any idea how important your song would be to little girls of any age, but every time I hear it, I cry. And it means so much more coming from a man. So, thank you.

I have been listening to your song with a different perspective recently. I am a woman in my 40′s who is going through treatment for cancer. It’s hard not to focus on the physical changes that are happening, but when I hear you sing, “you were made to fill a purpose that only you can do, there could never be a more beautiful you.” I am able to remember that God created me and it doesn’t matter what cancer does to my body, God created me for a purpose that only I can fill. Thank you for the encouragement.
