March 21st, 2009 at 11:53 amDear Johnny:
Monk & Kelly from J93.3 in GA asked me to contact you about an event we are hosting in Southern Atlanta called Taste of “Peachtree City” benefiting the Homeless Children of Atlanta. Atlanta has the most homeless children in America. Children of the Night (Atlanta) is the most important issue in which children have lost their life to the evils of the street filled with drugs, sex, and crime. There will be two made for television movies to discuss this important topic. This will be a 2 day event. Friday will be a battle of the bands where we will have 1 record producer, 2 celebrities judging to see what band will open up on Saturday afternoon. Saturday event will be with worship, praise, food, and music with 3 performing artists and we would like to consider you for the event on Saturday. I have contacted CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and MTV about this event and they are eager to see this come to life. I have worked for many charity events which included 9/11 National Broadcast to A+ Celebrity Performing Artists with their charities. Please contact me direct at 720.938.1280.Thank you

April 8th, 2009 at 2:19 pmHi Jonny! I love your song ‘More Beautiful You’. I was driving home after work the other day and I heard it play on 89.3 KSBJ. I am 26 years old and for past five years, I have been in such an abusive relationship (which I have gotton away from recently) that I couldn’t see who I was anymore. My heart was battered in such a way that I could not even look in the mirror; I hated what I saw. In working through all of these emotions, this song is a constant reminder of just how God views me. It amazes me how His blessings come in such a small form but have such an intense effect! Like so many others, this song has truely been a blessing. Thank you so much!
Have you thought about making your way down to Katy/Houston, TX for a concert? I attend Second Baptist Church West Campus (Dr Ed Young) and I know you would be welcomed at that church! I know many people in the church, so if you are interested let me know! Please think about it! Have a wonderful day!

April 9th, 2009 at 11:45 amthanks for the message Carrie! I’m very interested in coming to your church. Do you know anyone you can put in a good word for me??

Lauren Says:
April 17th, 2009 at 1:11 pmI second the idea to come to Houston! I’m sure Second Baptist (Carrie’s church) would host you, and if not, I go to First Baptist and we’ve hosted concerts too (Shane and Shane came with Bethany Dillon a few months ago)… it’s a possibility! Also, I am a high school youth minister and I am looking for someone to play at a kick-off for my students – they would love you! So I think we have a few options – how do we go about organizing this?
Thanks for your surrender to the Lord’s voice in your heart and allowing Him to guide you in your life – you are definitely on the right track, keep up the good work! I hope to hear from you soon, Houston’s ready for ya!

I heard you on 89.3 KSBJ a while back as well (like Carrie) and have since then fallen in love with your cd. Something about your words have touched where I currently am in my relationship with God and my spirituality and they’ve opened me up even further. I just was checking to see if you would be in the Houston area and read Carrie’s comment. KSBJ does these brown bag concerts which might be a great opportunity. Fellowship of the Woodlands would probably love to welcome you as well if her church does not work out (they often have a number of Christian concerts there).
Thank you again for the inspiration and ability to finally have words that match how I feel (especially Love Like You Loved)

June 24th, 2009 at 6:58 pmI would like some information about booking a concert with you. I am a sponsor of a Student Venture club at Merritt Island High in Merritt Island, Florida. We are a small club but I think we could get support from some of the local churches. If my club officially sponsored the event we could ask for the school auditorium. We’ve never done this before so I’m not sure of all the details. Let me know if this is possible.

June 30th, 2009 at 8:46 pmI really love your music and it’s so inspirational. I couldnt help but think of how it must really be effecting these young girls or even older girls who have always had a problem with self image. I remember i used to want so much to look like hollywood beauties and even starved myself for a while. It’s so nice to have a guy tell a girl shes beautiful just the way she is. i would love for you to come to my church sometime.

July 2nd, 2009 at 6:42 pmMr. Diaz,
I just wanted to thank you so much for your song “More Beautiful You”. As I listened to it as I was driving one day, I realized that the song mirrored my own life. I had lost who I was, I had given into the worlds view of who I should be. I had abused my body trying to be “perfect” which resulted in eight years of eating disorders. But, God has washed me, fixed my distorted vision and repaired my doubt in who I am as a person. Your are correct He does have a plan for me, that only I can fulfill! I pray God’s blessings for you. Please continue to use your beautiful, God given talent to help others. -

July 9th, 2009 at 9:18 amGod is GREAT! What timing! Our church holds a week-long youth camp every summer in July and our theme this year is “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”. The main point that we hope to get across to our kids (ages 10-17) is that “God created them just the way he wants them, that they are beautiful, and he made them that way for a reason (talents, physical appearance, etc.). We are also trying to emphasize that God is always the same, and the the World is trying to “define” how they should feel/look regarding their self-image.” I just heard your song “More Beautiful You” for the 1st time and can’t wait to share it with our camp workers!!! It is perfect and just in time — since we leave THIS Sunday for our camp. Thank you for being obedient to the Lord! — Sincerely, Debbie R., in WV

July 26th, 2009 at 3:00 pmWow! I heard “More Beautiful You” one morning..so of course, i jumped on youtube and found you..you have very amazing songs..the message behind them is incredible..i was thinking the whole time, i want him to come play for at least on event we have (which there arent many). we live in an extremely small town, which is actually a village, by the name of Doyline. it would be wonderful if you could come and perform at one of our church functions or our school functions. I attend probably the only Methodist church here. but, in Doyline everybody knows and loves everybody and if you were to come..i bet you would have a crowd..=] but,anyway..i wish you would just think of it..your concert might change the lives of some of the other teen as well as adults. You can find me on facebook and i also check my email regularly..
thanks

August 11th, 2009 at 12:22 amHi Jonny,
I just wanted to say that as a college student your music is truly inspiring. I can’t count the number of times I’ve made girls and guys who stopped into my room this past year listen to “Other Guys”.That song alone opened my eyes to the way a girl deserves to be treated as a daughter of Christ. It’s a wonderful blessing for us all to have a chance to hear God working through you in your music. Not only have you opened the ears of many but reached out to the hearts of countless people. I would highly encourage you to look into doing some shows at different college campuses.. More specifically the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. So many college kids need to hear this great message and I think you’re a perfect person to help share that.
Blessings,
Anne ! -

August 22nd, 2009 at 7:23 amOMG! Yes, please do come to Houston or The Woodlands area! Houston is blessed with so many wonderful churches. Lakewood Church, Fellowship of the Woodlands, and Second Baptist Church are all great venues for you to share your music with Houstonians!
Just like Carrie and others, your song “More Beautiful You” touched my heart. Hearing the song made me tear-up in my car as I was driving because it made me think of how much, how big, and how awesome God just loves each one of us unconditionally and with such truth and grace, that I was overwhelmed with this idea and emotion.
Thank you, Jonny, for sharing your talent to the world and praising God while you’re at it!
By the way, if you haven’t already checked-out 89.3 KSBJ, check them out at http://www.KSBJ.org because they would be a great contact to try to set things up for you to come to Houston. They have artists come visit for interviews and sometimes perform during the Morning Show, and it would be pretty cool if they have you over when you come for a concert!

September 5th, 2009 at 11:50 pmJonny,
Thanks so much for your recent show at the Strand in Atlanta.
My wife, my daughter and I really enjoyed everything you sang and said. I’m so glad we had that opportunity. We were a little upset that we didn’t win the best section with the bass player during the sing-along for “Love Like You Loved”, but we soon got over it. We saw you and your band after the show and bought cds and shirts and you were kind enough to autograph them all. I wanted to especially thank you for your stand for God. Your music has meant so much to my daughter and I as we originally saw you at Turner field opening for mercyme. I’ll never forget hearing “Sarah Jo” and “Hold Me” for the first time. Your latest album is terrific. We bought 2 copies at the Family Christian store here in Stone Mountain and bought the “Stand For You” version at your concert. “More Beautiful You” really struck a chord for my daughter who is 13 and for me, her dad, who is, well, much older than that. I”m the goofball that said I missed hearing “Hold Me” at the Strand but that wasn’t a complaint. Just a request to hopefully be included next time you’re in these parts. Hope to see and hear you soon.Songs that have really left an impression so far…

September 28th, 2009 at 1:55 pmThank you Jonny. I have 2 daughters, well actually, God has allowed me to be in their lives for the last 5.5 years as a step-dad half of the time. He is allowing me to expand my horizons and see how mixed-up and lost teenagers can be. While this can be depressing, I am hoping that your song can have a positive impact on them, and let them see that what God sees is important and to see the Truth in your lyrics. I pray God continues His work through you!!! God Bless You, Jonny!

September 30th, 2009 at 9:50 pmHi Jonny…
I wanted to thank you for “More Beautiful You”. That song has reached me and constantly reminds me that I am still beautiful through God’s eyes. I was in a really bad relationship and I was constantly told I wouldn’t find better or be anything without that guy. I heard your song for the very first time the other day when I was driving home from work. I was feeling down… the things he said in the past were coming back and slapping me in the face. Then your song came on and it made be feel beautiful again. Now your song is on my myspace… oh by the way you should travel down to Fresno California sometime.

October 27th, 2009 at 9:25 pmI was very blessed to have the chance to see you and Fee and MercyMe in concert on the 24th and enjoyed it very much. I have recently accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and am amazed at how wonderful He truly is. Many things that never made sense to me before, all of a sudden they do.
You truly touched my heart with the few songs that you were able to play at the concert, and it all started with your guitar. I love seeing people who are talented enough and able to play music the way you do, and are not afraid to just let it be their guitar and their voice. You truly have a gift from God to be able to do so. I hope to see you in concert again soon, and hope that you will be able to play more.
I hope you enjoyed yourself in Dothan, next time you are here, maybe you can come to my church.
God bless you and may you always keep music in your heart.
